California Gun Storage and California Firearm Storage

Estate Gun & Storage, a service of ALLGUNS.COM is a licensed Federal Firearms Dealer for California gun storage. We store firearms for a Gun Violence Restraining Order (GVRO), also written GRVO, a Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO), also written DRVO, and for voluntary gun storage when no order is in place. Mobile gun pickup is available through our intake line. Choosing an FFL keeps firearms out of a police property room. When a case ends, we assist with options for Gun Return, Sale, Transfer, or Liquidation.

Storage questions

How do I turn my guns in?

If a California court order or criminal case requires you to surrender firearms, you can turn them in to law enforcement or store them with a licensed FFL. Call (714) 721-3709. Estate Gun & Storage schedules intake or mobile gun pickup, itemizes each firearm, and gives defense counsel a proof of storage receipt for the court file. Do not transport firearms yourself while an order prohibits possession.

How to store my guns with an FFL?

Contact Estate Gun & Storage and specify whether you'd like to drop-off your guns here in Orange County or opt for mobile gun pickup and we'll come to you. We record make, model, and serial number, complete the California FFL transfer paperwork, and place the firearms in climate-controlled safe storage. Storage can follow a restraining-order term or continue month to month for voluntary gun storage.

What is California gun storage for a Gun Violence Restraining Order?

A Gun Violence Restraining Order (GVRO), also written GRVO, can require immediate firearm surrender under California law. Utilizing the storage services we offer as a California Firearms Dealer meets that duty and keeps the firearms out of a police property room. You receive court-ready proof of surrender and storage.

What is firearm storage for a Domestic Violence Restraining Order?

A Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO), also written DRVO, can require the same immediate surrender. We provide California firearm storage, serialized intake, and a receipt counsel can file before the hearing.

Do you offer voluntary gun storage in California?

Yes. Voluntary gun storage is available when there is no court order. The same licensed vault, insurance, and month-to-month plan apply, and mobile gun pickup is available if you do not want to transport the firearms.

Do you offer mobile gun pickup?

Yes. Mobile gun pickup is a licensed pickup at the client's location so the client does not transport firearms while under an order. Same-day mobile gun pickup is available for court deadlines.

What is a Law Enforcement Gun Release?

A Law Enforcement Gun Release (LEGR) is the California process for returning firearms after a case is dismissed or an order ends, when the person is eligible to possess them. We assist with Law Enforcement Gun Release processing. If the person is permanently prohibited, we can consign the firearms for sale.

Can you help with police seized gun recovery from a property room?

Turning guns in to police places them in a property room, where they can be damaged, etched, or hard to get back. Storing with us avoids the property room at the start of a case. If firearms were already seized, ask us about a Law Enforcement Gun Release for police seized gun recovery when the law allows a release.
